Hey guys sorry I haven’t been active. Life’s been crazy and busy that I haven’t been able to finish anything. So I have a little break so I give you what I’m working on at the moment. A holiday picture with Maximum Ride characters in it. I hope to finish this and then get back to answering your questions.

MR: Nevermore Review
This is my review for Maximum Ride Nevermore by James Patterson. I’ve read all the books and have been a fan since the beginning. So as this being the last book I had to show my opinion of it and here it is.
I got Nevermore Thrusday and finished it this morning. I started yesterday and took a break and finished it today. I wanted to take my time to take it all in.
I have to say I enjoyed this book! I’m kind of bummed that it’s the last one but I was satisfied to a point with it.
The story kind of blew my mind. And the end could of had a little more to it. So I will start with what I thought about the plot. Then characters and then other things.
I figured that it would be an end of the world type thing in it. What I didn’t expect was the deal with Fang. I thought that was a nice twist. It’s kind of interesting that Fang is the key to immortality. I would of never suspected that at all. Not in the least. So I kind of liked that surprise. So I went to thinking that within all the books everything was centered and about Fang. For once I was pleased with that the main problem Max had to do with was wasn’t the world (well it was in the end). Angels part made me sad beyond anything. It was sad the detail that went into telling about what she went through. I must say this is the most detailed book of them all. And the most violent. So many people died in the book. In the past it never really showed anyone die, besides I think Ari. (Who I was happy to see make another appearance cause you can’t finish the book without him). First Maya. I didn’t persay like her character but her death made me think, holy crap this book is going to be deeper than the others. I wanted to punch Star and Kate in the face for what they pretty much did, betray Fang, they are punks. Then I was sad to see Fang just leave Ratchet and Holden. I liked those two characters and now they are never to be seen again.
I liked seeing the flock in school. It was interesting to see them in a different school environment than the school they went to in the second book. It was good to see them actually interacting well with others. Also surprised to see that Iggy plays soccer. Dylan’s character I was most shocked by. He made tremendous character development! As Max and Dylan got closer I started to actually think that they were going to get together. I enjoyed seeing him go all ‘Godizalla’ on the town. He needed to let out his frustrations. Even if he did beat up on Fang, if you look at it through his eyes, he was doing what he thought was right. Dylan wanted to be with Max, you’d have to think if you saw someone with the person you love you might start getting the same thoughts as Dylan has. (though i do not recommend doing what he did). TO Angel. I’ve become in love with her character once again. I loved her in the first two books, then hated her in the third to sixth book, and now from the last book to Nevermore I love her again. Nobody can’t say that they didn’t love her in this book. It is not possible! I felt so bad for her and wanted to jump in the book to help her! And…..that one moment of her watching Iggy’s operation and have it done to herself….oh god so sad. I was happy to see that it actually showed how Iggy got blind, and how old he was. It sad 13 years ago, so Iggy was 2 years old when it happened. I thought he was a bit older than that, but the younger he was made it even more sadder. (I’ll get to Iggy’s character in a bit I’m still on Angel). So I felt bad for Angel, she’s not completely blind but still she had to go through that. And I really didn’t think she was the VOICE. I personally didn’t think it was any of the characters personally, when book 3 (saving the world and other extreme sports) came out I thought the Voice was Jeb but it wasn’t. So having Angel back with the flock made me happy.~
To Iggy, Nudge and Gazzy (putting them together). I was hoping there would be more of all three of these characters considering that this was the last book. But can never get my hopes up. I liked the parts they were in but I needed more. They seemed to not be involved as much as they use to. Which I missed. And their ‘inner voice’ messages they got seemed kind of pointless in the end. Nudge had to record everything. It showed her start doing it when Max and Dylan were on a ‘date’ but that was about it. What was the point of recording everything? She didn’t even record anything after that. It would of been nice to elaborate on that. And Iggy and Gazzy’s message, protect Max….I didn’t see them protect her really at all. I was expecting something to happen near the end where they would protect her but that never came. They just became side characters not to do anything important. I was happy to see Iggy and Ella get back together. I liked Iggy’s reaction when they met up with her again. It was so cute. Though it would of been nice to elaborate more on where Ella has been. All of sudden she was there. Did she get wings? or not? The last book said she was ‘born to have wings’ or something along those lines. Nothing else about that. And the end of the book ticked me off because the last you see of Iggy, Nudge and Gazzy are going into the caves. Nothing else! No word from them or anything! I thought the ending would be better if the flock reunited at the end together. The way it should be.
Max and Fang. I have to say I liked Fang’s character the most in this book. the most i’ve liked him in any of the other books. He speaks out so freakin much! and he expresses more. Fangs a big boy now! lol sorry. He made it to his senses and came back. I love him for that. The immortal DNA thing was a bit weird to think about but if you think about it of all he’s been through in all the books, he practically is immortal lol. Well he’s not immortal only his DNA holds the key to that. I hoped they would do more with that. Instead of the immortal thing ending with Jeb and Ari before they go to they’re paradise. Max.mmmm I liked her character. I have to say this book made me love the characters like I use to. I wanted her to smack a few people a few times but that happens a lot. She trusted her mom a bit too easily if in my opinion. That was one of the things that bugged me. Dr. Martinez wasn’t explained enough, Jeb wasn’t explained enough, Ari wasn’t explained enough, Dr. G-H wasn’t explained enough. Those things bugged me and I needed more information. In the end Jeb was as crazy as we all thought. I thought he was going to be nice in the end but he’s just as crazy as he was meant to be. Ari….well I figured he would come back…only to be killed again. That is his fate.
Last few things that bugged me. Pretty much the world ended because of that scar opening up in the sky. So got me to thinking….did almost everyone die? I mean thats pretty much what it’s implying. Did Star, Kate, Ratchet and Holden die? I hope not. I liked those characters. It’s pretty much saying only the ones on the island lives. *sighs* It was a violent book and a good one at that, but not enough things were explained.
I have gotten a lot of ideas of what to draw and just because the book series is over doesn’t mean I’ll stop drawing Maximum Ride. I plan on drawing it for as long as I can because I love this series with all my heart. It got me into books and is the reason I want to become a writer. I hope my drawings will still have everyone enjoy the series just as they did from teh beginning. This series had it’s ups and downs but it started great and ended just as great. SO RIP Maximum Ride series and never stop being the great book you are. Fly On~
